Types of Bans

  1. Restricted - Cards that are Restricted can only have a maximum of 2 copies of it in a Deck.
  2. Limited - Cards that are Limited can only have a maximum of 1 copy of it in a Deck.
  3. Banned - Cards that are Banned cannot be added to any Deck.

Printed Game Ban List

The printed game, also known as Vintage, does not have any current plans of getting a reprint to adjust the cards. In order to ensure that all players still get the best worth out of their cards, a series of specific limitations and bans is required to facilitate a balanced game.

This list is current as of 11/24/2023 and should apply to all competitive games being played with the physical printed cards, or competitive games using the vintage cards in the digital game.

Classic Mode

In games where Challengers are not used, the following limitations are required:

In games where Challengers are used, the following additional limitations on top of the Classic Mode list are required based on the specific Challenger(s) selected for the deck.

Digital Game Ban List

The digital game, also known as the Tabletop Simulator Mod or TTS Mod, can expect that on occasion will receive updates and changes to many of its cards to maintain relative balance. However, that does not mean that cards in the TTS Mod will be exempt from potential limitations in the time-frame before a balance patch.

This list is current as of 11/24/2023 and should apply to all competitive games being played with the TTS Mod and the digital cards.

Classic Mode

In games where Challengers are not used, the following limitations are required:

Jerma Rumble Variant

When players use the official Tabletop Simulator Mod, the following are required for deck building.

None.

Other

  1. Use of custom cards, fan cards, or otherwise edits of the cards in any community or fan tournament is not allowed as listed in the Fan Created Works Guidelines.
  2. Proxies are not allowed for officially sanctioned events using physical cards.
