One Guy is a Challenger Card that was first seen and printed in the Grotto Beasts! Trading Card Game. The character is a reference to the Twitch Chat phenomenon of the same name, as well as emote seen in the Jerma985 chat.

Written by Game Designer J. Evan Raitt:

One Guy had a very rocky start as a Challenger before finding the very specific card effect it was printed with. One of it's card effects worked similar to Toadstool in that you would attach any Beast face up to it and it would not only gain the Power of that Beast, but also the card effects. This was scrapped as soon as it was confirmed that Jerma would draw the artwork for the card. That sparked the inspiration for the card effect as printed, but also had a third part that was removed prior to printing. The third effect was going to allow the player to draw an additional card if their opponent was actually Jerma. It was removed for simplicity, but I do think we could have gotten away with it.
