Development
- Written by Game Designer J. Evan Raitt:
I did consider that scored cards would be visible for all players to see, or at least the owner of the cards to see. Over time, playing much more competitively, I determined looking over the cards took up way too much time, so prevented players from looking at them. This has the benefit of making it within a player's benefit of being able to know exactly what is scored through other means. Googlow was an attempt of making the lowest cost version of that kind of effect. Some have said that drawing two cards was too powerful, but no one felt like they wanted to add Googlow to their deck if it was just a 1-cost card that replaced a score. Giving the extra cards gave it that extra incentive to replace another card.
