- Written by Game Designer J. Evan Raitt:
For the longest time I was not interested in having any card effects that removed scored cards, but I also didn't want yet another removal ability on a Beast. Giving this effect a try was reasonable as long as I made sure it wasn't a prevalent strategy - so at least it would be unique even if it might have turned out to being one of the worst cards in the game.
