Card Effect
When defending, if Poñata would be discarded from play during combat, flip a coin and call it. If you win the flip, move Poñata to your sideline instead. If you can't or you lose the flip, discard Poñata and each opponent draws two cards. |

The first version of Poñata had you roll a dice and avoid landing on a 5 or 6. The coin flip was used instead to make it easier. This card tore apart a lot of our playtests but still felt fair over its lifespand. I think if I could go back I'd remove the sideline component, but overall it's a great tool for any deck.
