Copycat is a Wish Card that was first seen and printed in the Grotto Beasts! Trading Card Game. The card art references the Jermavase character Catboy Jerma.
The Card
Card Effect
Choose a player, then search your deck for a card with the same name as a Beast or Grotto that player has in play, and reveal it to all players. If the chosen player is an opponent, summon the card free of cost. Otherwise, put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck when you're done. |
Rules and Rulings

Information
Development
- Written by Game Designer J. Evan Raitt:
Given that the game may not have that many competitive cards, I figured it might be fun to include a mirror-match card. I don't think it was pushed too much to make it worthwhile, but I'm glad the card exists.
Trivia
- There wasn't as much interest to include Catboy Jerma to the game as it was never a official character. That was until the B. F. Bugleberry summoning and pool party stream when Catboy Jerma was officially seen. After that, the inclusion of Catboy Jerma was basically required.
